Review Of Organic Chemistry

The word "organic" signifies life,therefore all substance which were obtained directly or indirectly from organisms, plants and animals were called organic compunds and the branch of chemistry which deals with these compunds was called oraganic chemistry.
In the modern world the definition of organic chemistry is redefined as- "Organic chemistry is a chemistry of hydrocarbons and their derivatives in which covalently bonded carbon is an essential constituent".
I am in 12th. We have also started to study this branch of chemistry, mine views about this subject is......it is an interesting subject which takes you into the world of chemicals.
