Lohri is celebrated on 13th of January every year. It is a holy festival and is celebrated with great joy and happiness in North India. At this time the earth starts moving towards the direction of the sun and people started getting relief from the extreme cold.First lohri is very special for the newly wed couples and the newly born babies. At nigh people usually gather around the bonfire and often sing songs and throw popcorns, til, and puffed rice into the bonfire. People also dance side by side the bonfire and sing their songs for fun.Lohri generally means for calling the families together and enjoy with each other but the history of lohri is little bit different. The history of Lohri is as old as the Indus valley civilisation. Dulla Bhatti, like Robin Hood, robbed the rich and gave to the poor. The people of the area loved and respected him. He once rescued a girl from kidnappers and adopted her as his daughter. His people would remember their hero every year on Lohri. Groups of children moved from door to door, singing the Dulla Bhatti folk-song: "Dulla Bhatti ho! Dulle ne dhi viyahi ho! Ser shakar pai ho!" (Dulla gave his daughter a kilo of sugar as a marriage gift).

Hello guyz today i am going to discuss about an important topic in today's world...-to save our tress.
Trees are the most precious, valuable, important and necessary for the existence of any living being on this earth. They provide us the most essential things to our life and makes our life live better. The main role of saving our trees is to provide us enrich oxygen.
Oxygen production, cleaning the ground soil, slowing the run-off water from high areas, proving us shade, giving cool breeze, fighting with the soil erosion are the few reasons why the trees are considered to be priceless for the nature. Trees represents life on earth, but there destruction of cutting trees is rising day by day. They should be protected at any cost in this era of urbanization and industrialization and global warming.
SAVE TREES is not just a slogan to speak or to listen, it is a persona, which should be followed by all of us to save the existence of the nature for ourselves and for the upcoming generation.
One can save our trees and environment by the following ways:-
1) Make some your efforts in joining the organizations of planting trees.
2) Give your valuable time to these trees and to the conservation projects.
3) Encourage our classmates, friends, parents, neighbors to save our nature too.
4) Teach the young ones to respect the trees and nature and be a part of them in planting the trees.
5) Plant at least one plant everyday, so they we can save our trees.

Hello Guyz Am back again with lots of excitement..........
It is the time of winters. As we all know that winter is the coldest season of the year in the Northern countries and in hilly areas. In the winters, the days usually becomes much short than the nights. As being the season of fewer day light, it is the best season for the vacations or the picnics.
The feeling of winter starts in the mid of November when little-little cool breeze begins to flow which indicates that this lovely season has been arrived. Winters result in cold and cold which is the greatest fun for the children because they have to sleep for long hours in their hot blankets. I, too, being the one type of lazy man which likes rather sleeping in my hot blankets than from coming out of the house and playing with my friends.
In India, winters usually starts from November till March which results in the coming of spring season. These days are very bright and full of excitement and joy. The best region to enjoy the winters are in the hilly areas of Northern India which are famous for their snowfall. The soft and soothing rays of the sun in the winters will get you a pleasant pleasure which makes you sleep as long as you sit under the rays of the sun. But someone times this pleasure is been dis-interrupted by the rains and the strong winds which were coming from West to East and they pass through the Northern India. Mainly we consider December and January as the most coldest months of the season because most of the snowfall falls in this interval of time. Someone due to excess of cold, the temperature may go down even 15 C. Even in some areas, the temperature might down to 0 C.
But the pleasant of this season is expressed by the visitors who came from far and far countries to enjoy the beauty of winters. Winters not only attracts the visitors to our country but which also bring a variety of birds to enjoy this beautiful season. In the whole we can say that it is one of the best season of the year which brings happiness, joy , excitement to all the people.

| ThE Cold Winters |
As Today is 17 December 2010.....The season of cold has already been started since the ending of November but in the mid of December the cold is extreme .
We all are enjoying this season. In this season the hot blankets come out of the stores are ready to be get warmed by the people. i am also enjoying this season. We are hoping that they must be some snowfall also in our city!.
The streets are full of fog and moisture in the mornings and in the evenings..Children often like to play in their houses rather than outside..So
I am also enjoying this season and hope you all are also enjoying this season!....
