Today is 14/11/2010......... a special day for childrens all over India. It is celebrated all over the world on different days according to their welfare of their nations. Universally it is celebrated on 20 November by United Nations.

This day is celebrated on the birth ceremony of India's First Prime Minister, Jawahar Lal Nehru. As he was born on 14th of November 1889, so every 14th of the November is celebrated as Children Day in India. He played a most important role in the welfare for the education of the students. The childrens often called him as "Chachu" because he loves all the children in the world.

He died on 27 May 1964....was the day when a most important leader died. So from that day , every children celebrates this day in the honour of Jawahar Lal Nehru. All the schools also celebrates this special day and gives gifts to the children.

My school , Little Flower Hr. Sec. School, also celebrates this day with a lot of joy and happiness. There is a small skit on this occasion as many teachers acts as Chachu and places a Red colour rose on thier left pocket of the shirt as chacha Nehru oftens puts a Red Rose in their pocket .

So, in the end i would like to just remember the wordings of the Jawahar lal Nehru..i.e.
